Why is Russia bringing back food coupons?

The introduction of food coupons for low-income groups has been conceived as more than a way of helping the poor. Itís also another step toward supporting domestic agricultural producers, experts say.

The Russian Industry and Trade Ministry plans to finance a new program for low-income citizens that will involve issuing food products using a coupon system. Under the ministry's plans, the program is set to be launched in 2018, getting into full swing in 2019.

Snap Is So Desperate for Ad Dollars, It's Giving Out Coupons

Snap is offering discounts to businesses that buy ads for its new API and self-serve platform.

Snap's (NYSE:SNAP) tenure as a publicly traded company is off to a rocky start. After the company reported disappointing first-quarter results, the share price cratered back toward its $17 IPO price. Shares have recovered slightly but are still well short of where they traded shortly after the stock went public.
